when LCC met GOK!

LCC fashion students where lucky enough to be asked to take part in gok wans fashion fix which was taking part in liverpool met quarter.
i thought it would be a good idea to get down there and take part, because am actually applying for university this year, it will look good on the C.V.
The second day went well, his styling was very inspiring, 70's glamour was his second theme which was also my favourite it consisted of a plain navy jersey alter dress what cost around £45 quid, the magic he worked on this was fab and probably nothing i would of thought of doing myself. I saw headbands and was thinking what the hell are you going to do with those, they were also gorgeous, very bold gold studs. he wraped the drapery around the models arm to create shoulders and stuffed them with three shoulder pads, the transformation was really good and you could tell that by our reaction.
He accessorised the dress with a studded belt and some signiture arm cuffs instantly the dress went from £45 quid to a high end fashion dress of a price i would say £2000 or more!

Heritage fashion was one of his first showing not really my type but still was good to see what he did, i confidentaly pitched my input with gok on this stying project, i simply attatched hessian frog what looked something like millitary buttons on to a wax cropped jacket.
This by the way was all getting filmed and is to be aired on channel four in january something i will be looking forward to see.

Hello there miss watson

How amazing is emma watson looking lately? her style is becoming impecible and very intreuging. It just goes to show that her sweet cute harry potter image days are well and truly over, here is a girl who isnt scared of risk taking.

Ashish s/s11 collestion

i was always intrigued by ashiss imagination, its only been the last two years that i have been aware of ashish and now i just carnt get enough of him.

the s/s11 collestion was nothing more than fun! fun! fun! his inspiration was brought through from "the bastard child of calamity jane and rooster cogburn" not that i no anything about his inpired subject but to me i got the feeling his inspiration was more like texas chic even more like a glamed up trailer trash girl with the obvious twist, with his trade mark sequins that coverd cowgirl mini skirts with actual cow sequin print, also western style shirts and heavy frindged jackets and trousers this was all not for the faint hearted and more for the daring fashion follower who is prepared to stand out from the crowd and thats what i love about ashish he never plays safe.

The thing that got my heart racing was the cow girl boots OMG!  i need them like right now! could you imagine the looks and comments you would get wearing theese in the street, that what i love about ashish he never plays safe his target market is a daring girl who wants to stand out from the croud. so... back to the boots am actually in love with theese babys and am fasinated how hes used a fast food restaurant like macdonalds as a design, dont think anyone would advertise a fast food restaurant and get away with it but ashish can

Lanvin does H&M

As everyones been been fashionably bogging about lanvins colabiration with h&m i decided to jump on the band wagon and give my personal opinion on the feature.
Well... i am delighted that one of the worlds most influencial fashon designers has brought a peg down or too and has giving us yes us young fashionistas a chance to buy one of his latest and reasonable prices frocks. Lanvins collection is right up my street, bringing his designs from the cartwalk down to the highstreet. Here i have chose one of my favourites at a price of £149:00!!! id say that was a bargain from his usual price tag at a pricey four digit number.
Already ive heard most of his collection has already sold out before his due date goes on sale in H&M stores. So girls across the world who would die to wear a lanvin number now can but at a reasonable price now can and feel absoloutely AMAZIN!!!
