when LCC met GOK!

LCC fashion students where lucky enough to be asked to take part in gok wans fashion fix which was taking part in liverpool met quarter.
i thought it would be a good idea to get down there and take part, because am actually applying for university this year, it will look good on the C.V.
The second day went well, his styling was very inspiring, 70's glamour was his second theme which was also my favourite it consisted of a plain navy jersey alter dress what cost around £45 quid, the magic he worked on this was fab and probably nothing i would of thought of doing myself. I saw headbands and was thinking what the hell are you going to do with those, they were also gorgeous, very bold gold studs. he wraped the drapery around the models arm to create shoulders and stuffed them with three shoulder pads, the transformation was really good and you could tell that by our reaction.
He accessorised the dress with a studded belt and some signiture arm cuffs instantly the dress went from £45 quid to a high end fashion dress of a price i would say £2000 or more!

Heritage fashion was one of his first showing not really my type but still was good to see what he did, i confidentaly pitched my input with gok on this stying project, i simply attatched hessian frog what looked something like millitary buttons on to a wax cropped jacket.
This by the way was all getting filmed and is to be aired on channel four in january something i will be looking forward to see.
